Keep the binary current with av update; the curl installer is only for the first install.

After the first install, upgrade with the CLI itself:

ariadnev update # self-update to the latest release, sha256-verified
ariadnev update --check # only report whether a newer version exists (offline-safe)

update resolves the latest release from https://ariadnev.com/version, downloads the matching binary, verifies its sha256 against the published checksums, and replaces the installed binary in place. Add --global when the binary lives in a global location you chose at install time.

#Reinstalling the kit after an upgrade

The binary and the kit it embeds move together. After updating, re-run ariadnev install for the providers you use so their artifacts match the new receipt, then ariadnev doctor to confirm.

    #Version and release notes

    ariadnev --version

Every release ships its own release notes, and this documentation is versioned alongside it — the version selector switches between the current stable release and the previous one.

The docs version selector is not the installed version. Choosing an edition in the header only changes which release's documentation you read; it never changes the binary on your machine. To move the binary between releases, run ariadnev update (forward) or reinstall the pinned version you want (ariadnev.com/download/…?version=<semver>).
